熱海行（Gone to Atami）

母と、その兄弟（姉妹）と共に熱海行。

金色夜叉の砂浜まで、
長い坂道を下る。

転ばないようそっと。

風のため
堂ヶ島は欠航で、
細い山道を下る。

迷わないようそっと。

恋人岬の突先まで、
くねる階段を下る。

壊れないようそっと。

西からの帰路、
かすれた富士に落日。

雨無き空に
発つ虹、霞む。

老桜の蕾は開く。

そっと。

だが、

ずっと。

 

「枯れ葉を描く時は、最初は緑で描いて、絵の具で枯らしていくんです。
　すると、なにか自分を描いているような気分になる。
　一体感というか、自分にもまだ青春があるという気持ちになるのです。」

I went for trip to Atami with my mother and her brothers (sisters).

Gone down the long slope to the sandy beach
of "KONJIKI YASYA"(the Golden Ogre).

Quietly for not to fall down.

Gone down the thin mountain path.
Because The ship to Dogashima was suspension of service by strong wind.

Quietly for not to lose the way.

Gone down the winding stairs
To the tip of the Lovers Promontory.

Quietly for not to be broken.

The setting sun by veiled Mount Fuji on the way back from the west.

Veiled rainbow in the red sky without rain.

The bud of the old cherry tree opens

quietly

but

forever.
